Stop Binge Eating

October 14, 2009 by editor Leave a Comment

It is quite evident that whatever methods you tried for controlling your weight or for shedding those extra pounds have failed. Just sit down and analyze what went wrong in your efforts? No answer? Ok, let me tell you what exactly went wrong in your efforts for shedding weight. First of all it’s quite obvious that you did try to diet but you soon crashed and again started eating unlimited amount of food. This is the first thing that went wrong. For losing weight effectively you do not have to start dieting. You have to just stop binge eating.

It’s commendable you exercised everyday but the thing for which you should surely be scolded for is that as soon as you returned from your regime you ate pounds and pounds of things. Exercising is good but binge eating after exercising is extremely bad. No doubt you did these things, so for finally losing weight you just need to do one thing- STOP BINGE EATING. Now the question that arises is how to stop binge eating. It is obviously a little difficult to eradicate a habit out from your daily routine but if you try then you will surely succeed one day.

The following methods will help you in controlling binge eating:

  1. First of all allow yourself to eat anything you like. A person binge eats out of guilt. If you will not restrict yourself from eating anything then you will not eat it secretly or out of guilt.
  2.

  3. Whenever you are said and feel like galloping loads of food then just try to find out ways of concentrating on other things rather than thinking of eating. If you can control yourself from eating in emotionally unstable situation then you will surely lose weight and will surely stop binge eating.
  4.

  5. Make a time table and stick to it. Initially you may find problem following the time table but with full dedication and focus you will be able to stick to the schedule.
  6.

  7. Start meditation and self hypnotism, these two therapies will make your unconscious mind stronger and hence will be able to stick to your decisions.

Hypnotism and mediations will surely do wonders for you. These things will make you stronger and more dedicated towards your aim.

Self Help Groups-Self Esteem Support Groups

October 14, 2009 by editor Leave a Comment

Self help groups are groups which come together at a platform where they provide support to people in need. The people who join a particular self help group are mostly those share common experiences in life. They lend hands to each other for solving problems that they face in their respective lives. They provide support which may be emotional, financial or mechanical. All those who join these self help groups, reciprocate what others do for them. These people may join these help groups for different reasons. Some may be craving for some information that might help him lead a good life and some may just wanted to show his benevolence.

People with different aims and aspirations but with similar experiences share the platform at these self help groups. They work in a manner which is mutually beneficial for everyone who is putting in some effort. The name ‘self help group’ itself defines the entire base of these groups. These self help groups work on diverse transitions of life. These transitions or gaps can be loss of a family member, fighting or living with certain disease, or different loss in life. This is why for different problems and aspects of life these people have different and a number of self help groups. All those who find a way to deal with a persistent or temporary situation of life tries to help others through these self help groups.

There are basically two kinds of people who join these self help groups. One who joins these groups is for seeking help and support in life and the other who wish to provide help and support to needy ones. The ones who are willing to rally round the needy members are experienced in tackling that problem or have already tackled in past. This is how these self help groups function. Without the support and assistance from volunteers these help groups can never be successful. It is because we still have people who take out time from their busy schedules and initiate in helping others. A person who has faced similar problems in past can understand the pain and grief of a person who is facing it at present.

Self control how to

October 13, 2009 by editor Leave a Comment

Self discipline is important for a balanced life. A life which has absolutely no control and discipline can never find its final path. A person who knows how to restraint can easily achieve success. In military schools and boarding schools students are taught to live a disciplined life, the reason why they are forced to live a regimented life so early in life because it teaches them to control themselves from the building years of their life. You may find a number of people who get up late, sleep late and do nothing in between. They have absolutely no control over their heart and hence roam from one place to other. Such lives never reach where they want to because they don’t know where they actually want to go in life.

Self control is important in various aspects of life. Self control is important when we start spending money unnecessarily, it is also important when we shout at someone just because we are upset. All these instances and many other showcase that self control is an important part of a balanced life. Self control and putting restriction are two very different things. Restriction is something which does not permit you to do a particular thing but self control means controlling self from doing things which are unnecessary. If you want to have a control on yourself but finds it hard to do then this write up will suggest you some methods through which you will easily control yourself.

First of all make a definite goal of life. Find out what is the aim of life and do things which favor it. Any thing which has no link with your goal should be unnecessary for you (some exceptions are always there, like family, love and friends etc).

Things which make you happy are important but only to a limit. Do not visualize your happiness in any materialistic thing. Do yoga, meditation and hypnotism for controlling your body, mind and soul. Hypnotism is very effective in taming the subconscious mind therefore if you really want to control yourself and your life then hypnotism should be made compulsory for you. It has absolutely no side effects and there very beneficial for you.

Overcoming Grief How To Deal With

October 12, 2009 by editor Leave a Comment

Happiness would never have been so important for us if we never had faced grief. Life has two faces one is good and other is bad. As all the five fingers of our hand are not equal hence all days are also not the same. Some days we are happy and some days we are sad. Since nothing is permanent here on earth, what is today will not remain here tomorrow. If today your life is full of grief then tomorrow you will surely smile. Life changes everyday. After every dark night sun shines in the morning. Similarly our life moves on passing different phases of life. When we are in a good phase of our life this world looks beautiful to us, we love each and everything thing about life but when we are poignant everything seems gloomy to us. We hate the word life when we are into the worst phase of life.

For living a good life consistently you need to face every phase of life courageously. You need to understand one thing that whatever happens in your life, it happens for the good. We are sent on this planet for doing something good. Just notice one thing after every bad phase you pass through you will find yourself in a good phase. Similarly whatever bad happens to you is because something good is yet to happen. You must overcome grief. Gloomy days will never persist, they will pass. You must have the courage to stand still in a terrible situation. Appalling conditions will never last long. You just have to make yourself understand that ‘this too shall pass’. You must understand the spirit of life, no matter how many nights you cried, no matter how many days you spent in a dreadful condition one good day will mend everything.

Life is ever changing. Nothing is here which is immortal. You must face whatever is the situation today because tomorrow it will be bright sunny day. For every tear you shed there will be a thing which will make you smile. Just never stagnant yourself in grief because it will pass, Wait for the good days. Trounce out from the grasp of woe and smile your way to a better life.
