Having Difficulty in Dehypnotizing Yourself is Extremely Rare

Occasionally, the instructions to wake up are not clear to the subject. If this is the case, clearer instructions should be given. You could also deepen the hypnotic state and then give suggestions to awaken at a specific count in a very authoritarian manner. Every so often, I have found that the subject has fallen into a natural sleep and just hasn’t heard the instructions. In this case I raise my voice which is usually sufficient or gently shake the subject awakening him as you would any sleeping person.

I would like to relate a rather interesting experience that I had with a male subject. I had worked with this particular subject six times previous to this occasion. He was a good hypnotic subject, and he failed to awaken in the usual manner. Since he had carried out several posthypnotic suggestions, it was rather perplexing to analyze what had happened. After about ten minutes, he finally agreed while he was under hypnosis to awaken at a given count. I asked him what was the nature of the difficulty. He replied, “I wanted to see how you would react.”

In conclusion, having difficulty in dehypnotizing yourself is extremely rare. Should it happen, _keep calm_, and repeat the suggestions with emphasis. Even in hetero-hypnosis, where the hypnotist hypnotizes a subject, it is extremely rare. There are explainable psychodynamic factors for this. However, they can be met adequately while the subject is under hypnosis.

How To Overcome Fear Of Darkness

Maximum percentage of children and many adults fear of darkness. This is the most common fear that Homo sapiens suffer from. Darkness is associated with negativity and often people think that spirits and other bad elements exist in darkness. The existence of all these negative powers has never been confirmed. Fear of darkness arises from the very thought of these elements. If a person stops fearing from these extra elements then he can easily overcome this fear of darkness. There are many people who do not fear from any such things but still accept that they do fear of darkness. Reason for this fear can vary from person to person but its solution is almost common for everyone.

If you continue reading then you will explore how to overcome your fear of darkness. The steps that are mentioned here are very easy to adapt and implement.

 

  1. Think logical. What can be the worst thing that can happen if you face the darkness? After analyzing this face your fear. Whenever in night you need to go out but fear because of the darkness mind it the only way to overcome your fear for once and for all is to move out. Face your fear at that time only and move out of the shell.

  3. Gradually start trying and practicing your vision in night. Shut off all the lights one day and check out things around you. This will make your night vision stronger and clearer. This will help you in observing things lucid for you in dark.

  5. Start reading books that inspire you and fill you with good positive thoughts. Such books will not allow you to think about anything negative.
  6.  

  7. Practice self hypnosis. This is the key to fight your fear of darkness. You will realize after starting on with hypnotism that you are growing stronger day by day mentally and that you can also face darkness more often now. With the power of hypnotism you will soon notice that you have overcome your fear of darkness.

Anything is possible in this world. If you give in your 100% then you will soon overcome your every fear and live a life which is fearless.
